Science is a hands-on subject, but over the last COVID year, many students didn't get that opportunity. Some of the neatest aspects of Earth science can only be seen with a microscope. For example, actually seeing mineral and rock structures and details on a micro level. HS-ESS3-1* Construct an explanation based on evidence for how the availability of natural resources
HS-ESS3-2 Evaluate competing design solutions for developing, managing, and utilizing energy and mineral resources based on cost-benefit ratios
HS-ESS3-3 Create a computational simulation to illustrate the relationship among the management of natural resources, the sustainability of human populations
When students share these experiences we can provide rich discussions. Most students don't have access to microscopes at home, I'd like to give them every microscopic experience I can in the classroom and record those experiences to share online.
