Students will be able to feel safe and have a place to unwind while at school. The use of calming items and fidget tools fit into the NV school counselor ASCA mindset standards M.1 and ASCA behavior standards B-SMS 10.
Having a safe and comfortable place is critical to recovering mentally and emotionally from the COVID-19 pandemic.
Resiliency is within every student; they need a place to rediscover and learn new coping techniques. The addition of self esteem, coping and resiliency games, coloring books, manipulation tools, and an air purifier will provide a calm place where recovery is possible.
