These incredible STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, & Math) resources will be added to our existing Maker Space which is used on a regular basis through STEAM library center rotations with all our students 390 - K-5th grade students. These wonderful resources will help to enrich our students' learning in core subjects, including some that align with our new science curriculum, and develop skills that all 21st learners should attain. These and other enrichments have not been the same as they once were pre-COVID due to protocols students could not use shared items. Students are excited to get back to some hands-on learning. Our students would benefit from the technology resources as a fun way to learn coding and math. The other resources will help nurture skills and concepts such as: following directions, critical thinking, logic, use of technology, reading skills, independent study, communication, construction, engineering, design & planning, geometry, multiplication, counting, creativity, problem solving, fine motor skills, imagination, open-ended play & discovery. Thank you in advance for your consideration of our project.
