When this project is funded the students will use these items to share the holiday spirit and promote cheer through the community. Students will create artwork in three step process by independently and/or collaboratively (depending on the age), displaying positive studio behavior including responsibility, organization, self-motivation, and appropriate interaction with their peers. First, they will draw or sketch with pencil to insure all items are where they need to be and can fix if there is an issue. Next, students will paint in their art using a variety of colors and textures. Last, students will get to present their art to their peers by sharing why they selected and used specific visual characteristics to communicate meaning of their painting
