The items that I would like to get will help connect the students to my classes more. I am looking for high interest, lower lexile books for my lower level students. Sometimes students need a little push in the right direction, so I am adding incentives which they can "purchase" as rewards for discussion and collaboration. I would like to get items to keep them focused such as fidget spinners. I also will use Expo markers for the individual white boards I want. Flexible seating will also help create a more comfortable community. I want my students to feel comfortable and welcome in the safe space that is my classroom.
