Not all my students are able to bring a snack to school everyday. We are a Title I school that gives free breakfast and lunch to all students. Unfortunately, most of my students do not get to school early enough for breakfast and are forced to wait until lunch time to have something to eat. I would love to create a snack box for our recess break! By making sure my kiddos have that snack, it means they can stay focused in class. It also makes sure they are satiated so their stomachs aren't growling (which can makes some kiddos feel very uncomfortable). I asked the students what kind of snacks they would like to have in the snack box and their choices are reflected on our wishlist.
I am also kindly requesting Lysol wipes for our classroom. We are in the middle of an ongoing pandemic and it's imperative that I keep our classroom as clean as possible. I'd like to give the kiddos one wipe at the end of the day so they can clean their desks. We've had great success with this so far but unfortunately ran out of our previously donated wipes. My students enjoy the responsibility of keeping their space clean.
