Being a first year teacher at a Title 1, low income school, I want to fill my library with diverse books that will allow my students to explore different cultures, peoples, and things they have never seen before! Also, I want my students to be able to see themselves in books and find relatable characters.
I also have added extra classroom supplies I need for my students to be successful like dry erase markers, a Connect Four I plan on turning into a phonics lesson,
a BOP IT! for class bonding, and so much more!
My students are amazing and deserve to have a class filled with the supplies, love, and the happiness the need.
