These materials will help keep the students in my classroom engaged during instruction by having a "reward" or reinforcer to work for. These materials will also encourage functional communication AND positive behavior.
Please help me provide materials for my students to be successful in the classroom and learn successful behaviors/communication for the real world! Using rewards such as m & m's or goldfish are some students' favorite treats, and we use them to reward them for staying seated in their chair during learning or using the bathroom instead of having an accident. Sensory/fidget toys can be used to keep students engaged when seated for reading class, math class, or as a reinforcer for working hard. We also use these materials to encourage our students to communicate through images to request something they need/want or to communicate how they feel.
