The use of the teacher easel will be used every day in my classroom. For example, It will begin with the morning message that I will post every day. My students will practice daily how to follow along print and how print goes from left to right. My students are beginning to connect that letters are making words, which now they are reading more fluently.
The other materials that I have requested for my classroom will help to encourage and build my Language and Math centers. The Letter recognition, the Counting Learning center, and magnetic numbers will help build these foundational skills that are so important in Kindergarten to master.
Lastly, I am excited to be requesting the Alphabet Sounds Teaching tubs that will assist in my small group instruction. My students will come and join my small group and review and practice identifying letter name and sounds by actively participating in letter sorts.
By donating to my project, these resources will give my students a chance to build their stamina for learning, while actively participating in whole group or small group instruction or their learning centers.
