As a first-time teacher, these materials will help me create a visually stimulating, beautiful, and enriching classroom. With these items, the students will be able to see how much effort and love I put into my daily activities and will have enhanced access to projects and the group activities that they enjoy completing. Having many colors, patterns, and visually stimulating materials helps break up the monotony of handouts and presentations. My Journalism students will also benefit from materials that enhance their experiences in the classroom for design and visual purposes. For example, having items like colored paper, notebooks, paper cutters, and other craft items will aid in creating layouts that are visually stimulating and beautiful for the school newspaper. My journalism students also have introduced a "food" section in the newspaper, so we often share recipes, for which we use utensils.
