The country books in our library are from 1985. Some of them aren't even countries anymore! I would like to do a "travel day" once a month, for each class in the library. Covid has had us all staying home more but that doesn't mean we can't learn where we'd like to go! Travel day in the library would enable us to learn about various countries, it's people and their customs. Potentially, building an understanding of their differences but also showing just how similar we all are. This group of country books would be a great start to the collection but eventually including many more countries as we "travel" within the library.
