In my class we talk about how to take care of our bodies. We break down the body into the various body systems and discuss the function of each organ. It would be beneficial for the students to be able to get a visual on what each organ is, how it looks, and how it fits into our body. I will use the heart and body model so students can have a hands-on approach to understanding their organs placement, shape, size, and role in the body.
For the AED training pads, I teach my students about hands-only CPR and the CD in which the lesson comes from discusses AEDs. I would love to be able to allow students to become familiar with this tool so that if they ever find themselves having to help out with CPR and AED administration they won't be afraid or nervous because they have had exposure to the devices before.
