My students will use the alphabet resources each day in my intervention group. These struggling students lack the foundational skills they desperately need to read and write. (RF.1.2, RF.1.3)
Math resources such as the class set of ten frames, magnetic place value blocks and student clocks will assist my students in developing number sense and telling time to the hour and half hour. (1.OA.C.6, 1.NBT.B.2, 1.MD.B.3)
My students will use the Grab and Write Social-Emotional Prompts to engage in group conversations. The prompts will also promote daily writing through their written responses. This activity will additionally help build and strengthen our classroom community throughout the year. (1.ME.1.1, 1.ME.1.2)
These resources will help my students through more than a year of pandemic learning and align with the Nevada Academic Content Standards.
