We will use these novel sets to work on our state reading standards using books that will be engaging to learners. These novels will allow us to have classroom discussions about characters, themes, story elements and will help increase my students vocabulary all while they are learning to love reading. They will use the novels to produce project based assessments to determine their understanding of the content. Many of my students do not have access to novels at home and this will boost their excitement and engagement in regards to reading.

About my class
