Students have spent a lot of time on the computer. My projects will help them learn other things to do to cope during the Covid Pandemic.
Students will learn how to follow the rules of a game, explain a game, and play the game with family members or close friends. In class, virtually, or at home, students will be able to use these resources to entertain themselves and cope with the stress they are under as well as learn new skills that will help them be successful learners. The standards that the students will learn are:
1.HealthStandard:1.PCE.K.1
Identify a variety of healthy practices and behaviors to maintain or improve the personal, community, and environmental health.
2. ELA4.PK.1
Demonstrate and understand that printed material contains information (e.g., illustrations, graphs, and charts).
3.
Students will get to borrow the games, create new games, and interact orally as well as have some hands-on experiences and with this rock tumbler. Playing games is a great way to learn and a great way to cope with stress.
