These resources will be a huge help to my music classroom and my school. To be safe in COVID times, masks are currently mandatory in my district. With these wireless microphone headsets, every classroom in the school would have a working microphone that could be used with students and teachers. This will impact every grade level and every standard taught.
The iPad will be used to help bring my music classroom into being a 21st century learning space that supports the Nevada Academic Music Content Standards. Every grade level has a standard, MU:Cr2._.2, that focuses on how students document their creative process. With the iPad students can work collaboratively to record, document, revise, evaluate their composition.
A 4th grade example of the standard MU:Cr2.4.2: Use standard and/or iconic notation and/or recording technology to document personal, rhythmic, melodic, and simple harmonic musical ideas.
