These books will be the beginning of a History classroom library. Students will have the opportunity to read high-interest nonfiction historical books to enhance their understanding of cultures in different parts of the world. In addition, students will have the opportunity to enhance their reading skills and critical thinking skills as they tackle important themes that are connected to current societal issues on a global level.
Reluctant readers will dive into a better understanding of the world around them as they navigate the sometimes choppy waters of Russian culture and African culture.
