Every Friday my students love their end-of-day time to play educational games and have free time, but I'd love to start implementing Flashlight Friday Reading so we can turn off the lights and read with flashlights. This will be a great activity to get them excited about reading! My students love time to sit quietly and enjoy their self-chosen library books, and Flashlight Friday will be an exciting and rewarding time for them to read, with the added bonus of the lights off and personal flashlights! I'm really hoping the flashlights and headlamps will be donated!
