These materials will help teach and engage my students in new and exciting ways. These requested materials will be used to improve reading comprehension skills, higher orders of thinking, writing skills, and problem solving in order to make learning more fun so that when students leave the classroom, they are excited to come learn in speech therapy. The tablets can be used in the classroom so students can work with Boom cards, digital timers, videos and images to understand vocabulary and reading. Interesting reading materials will motivate students to complete assignments. Materials from Teachers Pay Teachers will also be used to work on fluency, articulation, and phonology. They will allow students to work individually, or in small groups with teacher and provider support in order to accomplish the speech goals that are outlined in their IEPs. I wish to give my students the best opportunities to learn and succeed as they prepare for the year ahead.
