I will be using these materials daily for my classroom. I will be using the conversation starter cards to help my SEL (social emotional learning) to help check in and help guide my morning circle. Flexible seating allows students to take charge of their learning and make the choices that work best for them. During independent work times they choose a location in the classroom that works for them. The products that I have selected will help my students by giving them additional seating options to make more effective learning choices. The wobble stools are adjustable and will allow students to sit at desk/higher tables but will still allow some movement. These will be extremely beneficial for some students that just need to get the wiggles out. They can also be used as an alternative chair if needed! I will be using my flexible seating objects like the wobble stool and standing desk to help accommodate my students learning needs. I will use the circuit kits and science kits on a exploring day to help improve and engage their science/ STEM learning. I will use the use the white boards, easel, etc. to be more interactive with my students! The use of whiteboards will be a daily activity in my classroom, especially in math. My students will use whiteboards for guided practice and to record modeled strategies. The whiteboards allow me to see exactly what they are doing, as well as provide an easy place for them to show and share their work. They will benefit from this by having more resources and not just using their math workbook. I am very eager to use the film canisters for my chemical reactions science lab. This will hopefully help my attendance with students as well as their engagement in class.
