Students who come to school need to feel safe, cared for and all too often, they need to be fed, to have their basic needs, met. That is the reality we as teachers face each and every day. Often times they can not spare from their home pantry for snack time here at school. That is where this project helps to fill that gap. Being able to provide them with a snack each day helps them to know that they are loved and cared for, while also taking that worry away from them.

About my class
