These materials will help build real life opportunities for my students to engage their senses as they learn through play to understand and use their voices! We will learn through books and retelling on our story board. We will talk about characters, Wh- questions, and beginning, middle, and end. We will learn through dress up as we talk about what community helpers do and need to succeed (Ex. Chef needs his apron and spatula). With kinetic sand, water beads, and many, many toys we can talk about basic concepts: wet/dry, clean/dirty, big/small, over/under, in/out, and so many more!
