Like most schools, we can always use more books! In March 2020, I sent my students home with many books and resources, that sadly did not make it back to our school. I am pursuing this project to get my students more books that they will not only learn from, but enjoy reading too!
With this new classroom library, my students will be able to choose from a wide variety of books that interest them, while continuing to develop their language skills. Little readers get distracted very quickly and always love to change their books.
My students enjoy reading books together in groups or with partners. At times, the students recommend books to each other and talk about their favorites. By having so many choices, the children will be excited to explore new books each day and never lose excitement for reading. Books help their little minds continue to grow!
