By creating and making various cultural crafts, students will learn about people and their culture from all over the world. We will join as a multicultural club every Wednesday from 12:00-1:30 to collaborate on various projects and share various information from all the cultures represented in the group as well as look at the culture of people not represented within the group. We will inform and educate others about cultural diversity while celebrating those differences.
Students will be provide the craft materials that were purchased and donated by the generous donors to collaborate on: a day of the dead project (originated in Mexico but celebrated all over Latin America), a dream catcher project (a Native American tradition), and a Rangoli Inspired Sand Art Project (originated in India).
These craft materials will be provided for every student who indicated a financial need in which it would be a financial hardship on the family in order to supply.
