These materials will make a difference in my students' learning because it will allow them to show their mathematical thinking and reasoning. By doing work on paper, students will be able to hone their math skills, not their typing skills. Research shows that work that is written is better retained than if it is read or typed.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, our already strapped school district had to spend money on mitigating supplies such as shields, sanitizer and extra furniture in order to be in compliance with the CDC guidelines for safe return to school. As a result, our school was not able to order the paper needed to properly implement our math curriculum.
About my class
