School is just around the corner. I can't wait for my students to return to school to start the school year. I work in a poor inner city classroom where classroom basics and manipulative materials are hard for parents to afford.
In order to start the school year off right and have some fun manipulatives to teach math, I am requesting some popper toys math manipulatives, Kleenex for the kids to use during the year, individual boxes of crayons and pencils for the students to keep at their desk, and dry erase markers so we can use them on our whiteboard.
I would love to provide my students with their own back to school ready to learn kit that has a math manipulative popper to teach addition and subtraction, their own box or crayons and a few pencils. It would also be great to have tissues for the classroom and new dry erase markers.
Please help me start the year off right and get the needed materials for my students.
