My kindergarten students will use these attention-grabbing tools to help them develop fine motor skills. Also, my English learner students are in need of fun opportunities for basic vocabulary development. All of these items will be used in my classroom every day to make "Center" learning an experience my students will enjoy and build the necessary skills for success.
I have noticed that many of my students are having trouble holding a pencils, crayons, and scissors. I want to give them opportunities to grow their fine motor muscles on a daily basis. These small muscles in their hands will grow each day and ultimately make writing an accessible subject throughout their lives.
Also, my beginning English learner students are in need of ways to build their basic vocabulary. They will be able to use these fun games to interact with their peers using basic vocabulary embedded in the game. As their vocabulary knowledge in English grows, their accessibility to reading, writing, and comprehension success will follow.
