I have provided a wide range of books for students to read in their independent time or as a whole group. These are stories that have not been traditional told in the class, despite their historic important and perspectives. I have chosen chapter books to help support students as they begin to strengthen their reading comprehension and fluency in upper elementary school.
I have selected a rug and flexible seating in order to create a comfortable, inviting space for students. These also help create a warm inviting space for students that promote independent learning.
Lastly, I have chosen classroom materials that would benefit whole class instruction by allowing for me to make clear activities and lessons for students to interact with.
