Every day my students inspire me to do more for them. They have the itch to learn all the instruments I have in my classroom. However, I had a student who struggles with their behavior and did not want to learn.
One day, upset, the student came up to me and asked if I could teach him the piano. Of course I jumped on the opportunity! Over time, I gave him a few lessons and from then on, he was inspired to keep going on his own. When others observed and heard him, they wanted to learn themselves and even went as far as asking that one student for lessons. Seeing the student become a teacher was a heartfelt moment for me. From this, I knew I had to find some way to give them all an opportunity to play.
Imagine each student with an instrument in their hand, playing along to their favorite melody, enjoying every moment, without a worry in the world. That is my goal for my students.
