I teach in a neighborhood school to a group of awesome kids.
My students are a group of kids with diverse needs. Some are learning English for the first time. Some come from traumatic backgrounds, and struggle to find their way in an academic setting. Some excel at reading and writing, and some perform far below grade level. But all of them have one thing in common: potential.
The resilience of my students is admirable, and that I why I am proud to teach each and every one of them.
