By having multiple seating choices throughout the day, my students are able to build their community and self-autonomy while staying focused and engaged.
Flexible seating choices allow my students to begin each day by using their student agency in exploring and learning what their "just-right" spots are for daily learning. This could be wobbling at a table or curled up with a comfy cushion on the floor.
