To make this school year as special as possible for my students, I would like to provide them with a productive and non-disruptive outlet for releasing energy. We all know it can be hard to focus in any setting, but this year students may find it increasingly hard to stay focused after being out of the classroom for so long due to virtual or hybrid distance learning.
Having flexible seating in my classroom will help my students focus on literacy work-typically thought of a "sit still and read" activity, while being able to physically move their bodies without being disruptive to their student neighbors. For many students they need to move their bodies to help them think and process material, which is where these supplies come in handy!
