These materials will ensure that our young scholars are safe and protected against COVID-19, are well-fed with sustainable snacks, and have appropriate clothing that is comfortable and clean, meeting all basic needs so that learning can take place daily. These materials can help keep children in school so that we do not have to anticipate any further school closures, as we are meeting basic needs for the young children in our community. Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs research shows the foundation of learning begins with the basic needs of food and safety.
