The binders are reading journals used daily and brought to small group meetings. Organizing the reading, writing, vocab, and spelling in one binder will allow students to keep materials for reference and organize their assignments. This binder will have everything they need to distance learn in case of snow days or quarantine. The headphones are used for various programs used for spelling and reading. Toothbrush holders are for pencils. I use these for a classroom management called "Pencil Wars". Students have 5 pencils per week, if they keep all five in their toothbrush holder they get a prize on Friday. This keeps them from wanting to sharpen pencils when it is time to work and keeps them responsible for their tools.
