Covid-19 has taken away so much from student engagement in the arts. Students could no longer play recorders, share instruments, or sing. Unfortunately, the arts are underfunded. This year will be more of the same restrictions: social distancing, students cannot share instruments, students cannot play wind instruments, students cannot sing (even with masks), and our school musicals hang in the balance. Please help me give the students a chance to enjoy music! By donating rhythm sticks, students would be able to each have their own pair of sticks to engage once again in the music classroom.
