Last school year, the students were learning through screens only creating two-dimensional relationships with their classmates. Basic tools (notebooks, pens, pencils, markers) were scarce since it was not possible to share the items together for the virtual scholars.
This year, students will be returning face-to-face in the district.
These basic items such as composition notebooks would be used every day in my classroom for students to express how they are feeling as well as solutions to dealing with unhealthy emotions that may arise throughout the year. Composition notebooks, pencils, and pens give the possibility for students to see their thoughts on paper. Students would use the Post-It Easel Pads to collaborate in groups about common themes that occur throughout literature pieces.
