This rug will be used every single day in my class. In First Grade, 6 year old attention spans are very small. I teach at a very poverty based school so when these students are left at their desk for too long they tend to go to sleep. This rug helps get them out of their desk and in front of me more. I鈥檒l be able to have lessons on the floor within reaching distance from all of them. I鈥檝e tried using number dots on my floor, but they do not last long at all. I鈥檓 needing something sturdier like a rug to utilize in our daily lessons.
