Most of my students missed out on preschool due to the pandemic or because they are from low income families. I would love to make their first school experience fun and exciting with these new activities added to my classroom! We all know that students get the most out of learning through play experiences and these materials will be engaging and fun for all students regardless of their abilities. The materials I chose will help my students with fine motor skills, literacy skills, math skills and most importantly sensory skills. The Alphabet bins will provide my students with real life objects to associate with letters. They will provide a great opportunity to learn vocabulary for my second language learners. The sensory bin will provide students an outlet to revive any anxiety or stress they may be feeling as we continue to teach during a pandemic.
