Hands-on STEAM activities allow students to learn from mistakes and build a better world. Your donations will provide students with weekly opportunities to engage in meaningful activities to explore Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Mathematic concepts.
These planned activities include dissecting OWL PELLETS to learn about habitats, build two and three dimension shapes using STAWBEES, and develop design and engineering skills with K'NEX blocks. Stations present a challenge for students to work on real life problems in small cooperative learning groups to build positive growth mindsets and problem-solving skills. Students will work with peers of different learning abilities and styles to design, build and test various hypotheses and present their findings while developing their technology, writing, speaking, and listening abilities
