This project will help with students learning how to grow socially and emotionally during a pandemic. We are using all the tools we have to encourage our students to access calming strategies when needed. Our students are constantly learning how to manage these skills. Encouraging the development of emotional skills during a pandemic is essential. We are needing these items to add to our calming corner of our classroom. These lamps will promote mindfulness, breathing, and reflection.
We all have different coping mechanisms that we have learned to use to regulate our emotions and return to a more neutral or positive space--Kids are no different!
