I teach Human Body Systems, Genetics and Earth Systems. The apron and models will be used for demos and in class labeling to give EL students visual reference points as we learn. The Whiteboard erasers will be used in our Whiteboard Brainstorms where students are observing, connecting and synthesizing main ideas to add to our Scientific Principle Wall. The hot glue, flasks, tape and dishwasher pods will help during our earth systems unit where we do hands on projects like creating a model of a earthquake, volcano or tsunami. Lastly the flexible seating is a new addition for my classroom to aid in the learning of students with ADD/ADHD who may need different seating options to focus.
