Imagine a group of high school students walking into class on their first day, they are amazed by the warmth and positive energy of their new ELA classroom. They are excited to have a safe and homey place to make their own throughout the school year. And, they are eager for new opportunities to engage with their peers and open their minds to new ideas.
Over two-thirds of our students come from economically disadvantaged households.
After over a year of being stuck at home, facing the hardships of Covid-19, and adjusting to virtual learning, they deserve a welcoming space that encourages their freedoms to become fantastic learners and even better human beings.
