My students have emotional disorders due to traumatic events that they have experienced. I have a behavior classroom where students struggle to build or maintain relationships with peers and teachers, regulate their emotions and controlling their impulses. These learning games, outdoor activities and gardening supplies will help them practice the skills they need to overcome the challenges their disability have placed on them.
Help me inspire my students to connect with their peers, regulate their emotions and build skills in self discipline! The activities that I am requesting will help my students on the most basic skills that will allow them to progress in other areas of academics throughout their schooling. They need the skills of building/maintaining interpersonal relationships, emotional regulation and impulse control to be successful in school.
