Most students are unable to buy their own supplies for school. Therefore, I want to ensure each student is prepared in my classroom each day. I am creating supply bags for each student to accompany their interactive notebooks that will be used daily. Mainly, students will need writing utensils, glue, and scissors to cut interactive notes, and highlighters to analyze texts in the classroom. Some items are meant to be used for classroom decor to add an inviting and safe place for my students to decompress and enjoy their time within my room. My students deserve to not worry about being prepared, so I want to make this happen for them.
