My students are learning the basics of music, and have been asking for years to be able to play a 'real' piano. With these pianos to start, my students will finally be able to learn hands on how music theory works. They will be able to play songs and even create their own music!
I am hoping this real-life piano lab will continue the excitement I saw in them while using a virtual piano during their at-home learning during the pandemic. These mini pianos will be portable and easy to sanitize, and will bring so much joy and learning to my students who mostly do not have access to any instruments at home. From my youngest kindergarteners to my ready-for-middle-school 6th graders, these pianos will be well used and well loved.
