It is more important than ever that our students feel safe and comfortable in the classroom. In these uncertain times, students and teachers must accommodate for social distancing and this makes classroom space very limited.
This organizer will provide stress-free organization for classroom materials, free up floor and desktop space for learning, and contribute to a calm class environment.
With social distancing still being important, we have made changes to our classroom desks and the layout. These desks do not have storage options. Teachers are creative and adaptable with coming up with solutions to where our students put their belongings. This can lead to bins on desks, on floors, or placed around the room. Not only does this make maneuvering about the room less than ideal but also impacts transitions. All of these factors can detract from the calm environment every teacher wants to create in their room. This calm environment enables productivity, reduces behavioral instances, and strengthens bonds between teachers and students.
