As we all know, the last year and a half has difficult to say the least. During the pandemic, students did most, if not all of their school work online. The academic gaps are evident. In my opinion, If my students are able to fall in love with reading for enjoyment again, this can help close some of those gaps. What happened to snuggling up in a corner and enjoying a great book? Technology happened. This school year, I want my students to fall in love with reading again! I want them to be able to step away from their computers and snuggle up with a good book in a comfortable and welcoming reading area.

About my class
