The materials I am requesting will replace our old and worn out recess equipment and provide other opportunities to spark student interest in learning. Our students enjoy riding anything to help build gross motor skills. They will be overjoyed with new coupes, scooters, tricycles, and a balance bike. We don't have a playground made for students ages 3-5 the step 2 play climber with a slide would serve as our playground. The bubbles, hula-hoops, and basketball hoop will make fun recess alternatives.
Preschool is the beginning stages of a child's educational journey where they begin to build foundational, social-emotional learning, and motor skills. Eager to learn our students enjoy various opportunities to learn, play, and grow together. Learning is so much more fun when it's introduced in fun and engaging ways. They love pretend play and the career costumes would help to introduce them to community helpers. We teach them they can be anything they want to be if they set their mind to it and never give up. One of their favorite parts of the day is sensory time. They enjoy anything hands on such as sensory beads and water blocks using their imagination to design and build. A sand and water table with spotting bubbles and fishing games to teach the alphabet, numbers, and sight words will be alternative ways to teach essential skills for kindergarten. We have big dreams for them and learning comes with endless opportunities!
