Science is a subject of exploration and discovery. This is possible through labs, hands-on activities and even technology. Through science labs, students will learn how to ask questions, form hypotheses, and perform experiments. These supplies will help our classroom accomplish this. Whether it is collecting data, extracting DNA from a strawberry or viewing microscopic organisms, my students will be actively engaged and learning science! I have many hands-on activities planned this year that will also drive these biology topics home. Many students learn through tactile activities. Seeing, touching, and feeling helps them to understand difficult concepts. Lastly, we wouldn鈥檛 be a 2021 classroom without technology. I am excited to utilize our computers more with the use of student headsets.
