The traditional school year and the learning of our students have been greatly interrupted by the COVID-19 pandemic. With the materials that have been requested, the students can gain valuable skills, such as vocabulary and reading strategies, to supplement structured in-person learning. Breakout sessions, or small group activities, will promote breakthrough learning in the areas of Reading and Language Arts. I intend to use these materials to create individualized and intentional small group activities. These activities will not only enhance the learning of the students, but will also add some fun to their classroom learning environment.
